Kaizen Karate Belt Gradings

GRADING IN WADO RYU KARATE...

The challenge of Karate is an intense personal one. Basically it is a question of whether the student has the determination for the diligent practice required to improve. The amount of time it takes to become proficient varies and is largely dependant on dedication to training.

There are no shortcuts in Wado Ryu Karate and remember your instructor cannot do it all for you. Throughout your Karate training you will meet some frustrating periods when nothing seems to go right. When this happens you must preserve, like everything else in life that is worth achieving it does not come easily.

Gradings are invariably nervous times and therefore they will be a test of your mental approach as well as your technical ability.

Use the colour coded belts below to view the grading syllabus for each.
